We’re counting down the cuckoos until Santa comes to town!

With all the cheer of the season on our minds—hot mulled wine, glistening snow drifts, delightful window decorations, the scent of freshly cut pine and fondue wafting through the house—we felt inspired to create our first-ever tribute to Santa. Loetscher is very proud to introduce this spectacular, snow-blanketed Swiss chalet cuckoo clock.

Our beloved Santa takes center stage on this beautiful cuckoo clock, driving a sleigh overflowing with Christmas gifts. Two of his devoted reindeers await his signal to take off into the night, clearly eager to deliver the gifts that children around the world are dreaming of.

Off to the right side of the scene is a charming little hut with three rotating levels, providing just a teasing glance at a few of Santa’s presents—all of which were made by hand with painstaking care from fine, delicate paper. Two hand-knit bags, made from Swiss cotton and filled with sand from Lake Brienz, adorn the top level of the little hut.

Off to the left side of scene stand three large, snow-covered pine trees flanking Santa’s quaint chalet, and next to that, on a moving platform, a heart-melting image—a baby deer tentatively finding his footing. A large, male reindeer stands lovingly and protectively over his precious offspring.
