This Emmental style chalet has a seesaw centered just above the face of the clock. Together with the clock’s tick-tuck the seesaw moves up and down and gives the clock a very cheerful character. On the left is a little dog house that is covered with beautiful flowers. Inside a little dog is sheltered.
The stones at the feet of the flag pole are collected from around the Brienz mountains and the flowers are made of sand that is carefully collected from the banks of Lake Brienz and colored by hand.
Finally, a chimney sweeper’s head appears from the chimney above each time the cuckoo bird sings.

Mechanical Movement : Movement runs for one day before you need to wind up the chain.

Moving Elements : Seesaw that swings up and down with the pendulum movement. A chimney cleaner peeks his head out of the chimney with the sound of the cuckoo.

Figurines and Ornaments : The figurines are hand-carved and hand-painted, which makes each one of them original and unique.

Night feature : A manual switch that allows you to turn off the cuckoo sounds without interrupting the clock movement.
